A vibrant secondary school in Horsham is seeking a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join their Performing Arts department. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a thriving arts program. The school are looking to appoint a dedicated Drama Teacher.

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal Drama Teacher will possess:

  • QTS: Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven ability to teach Drama at Key Stages 3 & 4 (KS5 experience is a plus).
  • Passion: A genuine love for Drama and theatre.
  • Skills: Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment: Dedication to raising student achievement and fostering creativity.
  • Collaboration: A willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to extra-curricular activities.

THE ROLE:As Drama Teacher you will be;

  • Delivering engaging and challenging Drama lessons.
  • Differentiating instruction for diverse learners.
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback.
  • Maintaining accurate student records.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with colleagues.
  • Contributing to extra-curricular Drama (productions, clubs, etc.).
  • Supporting and/or directing school performances.
  • Communicating with parents/guardians.
  • Ensuring Health and safety
