Drama Teacher - Croydon Secondary School - Inspire Creativity and Confidence on Stage (Outstanding Ofsted) An 'Outstanding' Ofsted-rated secondary school in Croydon is seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Drama Teacher to join their thriving Performing Arts department.

This full-time, permanent position offers an exceptional opportunity to nurture students' creativity, confidence, and performance skills in a supportive and vibrant learning environment.

The Role: As a Drama Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and imaginative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of drama, theatre, and performance.

Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their creativity, develop their acting abilities, and build confidence.

Utilize a variety of teaching methods and dramatic techniques, including improvisation, script work, and physical theatre, to inspire students.

Direct and produce school productions, providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents and experience the magic of theatre.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and differentiated support to ensure each student reaches their full potential.

Collaborate with colleagues within the Performing Arts department to enhance the curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to the school's vibrant arts culture.

Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

A strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 Drama curriculum.

Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting.
