Enthusiastic Drama Teacher Wanted in Hounslow! Vibrant School

Join the vibrant school atmosphere of our Hounslow school as an Enthusiastic Drama Teacher in our well-established Performing Arts department. This is an excellent opportunity for a Drama Teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially A-Level Drama, developing their performance skills, creativity, and understanding of theatre. Location: Hounslow Role: Drama Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for a wide range of dramatic techniques and theatrical styles.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Performing Arts to share best practice and enhance the Drama curriculum.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Drama.
  • Direct and support school drama productions and extracurricular drama clubs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Drama at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
  • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Drama and theatre.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students in Drama.
  • A passion for fostering creativity and performance skills through Drama.
