Passionate Drama Teacher Wanted in Westminster! Theatrical Secondary School

Location: Westminster Role: Drama Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Drama lessons across Key Stages 3-4, catering to diverse performance interests and abilities.
  • Inspire students to develop their performance skills, theatrical knowledge, and appreciation for different genres.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a rich and varied Drama curriculum.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Drama.
  • Potentially direct and support school drama productions and extracurricular drama clubs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Drama at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply) within a theatrical and engaging setting.
  • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Drama and theatre.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
