Location: Canterbury
Salary: £120 £250 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education Kent is pleased to be recruiting for a full-time Drama Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Canterbury starting this September. This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis and is ideal for a passionate Drama Teacher eager to bring the stage to life in the classroom.

As a Drama Teacher, you will become part of a supportive department that values innovative teaching and student expression through performance.
As a Teacher of Drama, your role will include:
• Planning and delivering engaging and imaginative drama lessons that ignite creativity and build confidence.
• Preparing students for practical assessments and performances.
• Encouraging participation in extracurricular drama activities and school productions.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, offering tailored feedback and support.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links and creative projects.
To be considered for the Drama Teacher role, you must:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
• Have experience teaching Drama in a school setting.
• Be passionate about performance arts and student engagement.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Be proactive, flexible, and committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences.
