We are seeking a creative Drama Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Haringey from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. You will deliver inspiring drama lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a dedicated Drama Teacher.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons, focusing on acting, improvisation, and stagecraft.
  • Prepare students for performances and assessments.
  • Develop students' confidence, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the drama curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and potentially lead drama-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Drama.
  • Proven experience in teaching drama at secondary level.
  • Strong acting, directing, and theatrical experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
