Job description
Why Join This School?

A creative and inclusive secondary school in Oxfordshire is seeking a dynamic Drama Teacher to join its thriving performing arts faculty this September. This is a chance to inspire students to develop confidence, creativity, and teamwork through the performing arts.

The Drama department is equipped with a purpose-built theatre, professional-grade lighting and sound systems, and a full stock of costumes and props. The school has a tradition of high-quality productions, from classic plays to original student-devised performances, and values the role of theatre in building life skills and cultural appreciation. Staff are encouraged to bring fresh ideas to productions and extra-curricular programmes.

Your Role

Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4, delivering lessons that develop performance, directing, and production skills. Create a safe and inspiring environment for students to explore their creativity, experiment with different performance styles, and gain confidence in public speaking. Direct school plays, lead extracurricular drama clubs, and organise theatre visits to expose students to professional performances.

A passionate Drama educator with the energy and vision to motivate students and the organisational skills to manage ambitious productions. You should be committed to helping students realise their creative potential both on and off stage.
