Permanent, full-time position

Salary:

£100 - £200 per day

Role Overview:

The Drama Teacher position in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality drama lessons to students, fostering their creativity, confidence, and performance skills. This role involves working within the Education and Training sector, specifically in the Public Sector.

Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons to students
  2. Develop and implement curriculum activities to meet educational objectives
  3. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  4. Organise and oversee extracurricular drama activities
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the drama programme
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Drama or relevant field
  • Previous teaching experience in drama is preferred
  • Strong understanding of drama education principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in Drama Education is desirable
  • Experience in directing school productions is a plus
Additional Information:

Pay rates include statutory holiday pay of 12.07%. This position is advertised as temporary, with potential for permanency in the future.
