Job role: Drama & Music Teacher

Location: London Borough of Wandsworth

Salary: £160 - £240 per day

Start Date: September 2024

Contract Type: Full-time

Exciting opportunity for a Drama and Music Teacher in a Lambeth-based secondary academy.

Are you a passionate and creative drama teacher seeking a new challenge? Join our vibrant secondary academy as a Drama and Music Teacher and inspire students with your love for the performing arts!

Drama Teacher Responsibilities:
  • Teach KS3/KS4 students.
  • Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons for various year groups.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment encouraging student expression.
  • Organize and direct school plays and drama productions.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Drama Teacher Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of drama and performing arts curriculum.
  • Experience in teaching BTEC Performing Arts is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
