About the Role: As the Drama Teacher, you will take on the responsibility of delivering engaging drama lessons, ensuring continuity of learning for all students. You will work with a dedicated team of staff in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will also have the opportunity to inspire students to develop their performance skills, creativity, and self-confidence in a dynamic and stimulating classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivering Drama lessons to students in KS3, KS4 and KS5.
2. Managing classroom behaviour effectively and ensuring a positive learning environment.
3. Providing feedback on student progress and supporting their development.
4. Collaborating with the drama department and wider teaching team.
5. Engaging with students to foster a love for drama and the arts.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting (preferred).
3. Passionate about the arts and creative expression.
4. Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
5. Able to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
6. A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
