The Role
We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 to 5 and contribute fully to the department's academic and co-curricular work. You will be expected to bring creativity, subject expertise and a passion for performance to the classroom and beyond.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality Drama lessons across KS3 to KS5
Support and direct school productions, clubs and enrichment activities
Monitor and assess student achievement, providing feedback to support progression
Contribute to curriculum development and the promotion of drama across the school
Participate fully in the school s co-curricular and pastoral life
Person Specification
Essential
A degree in Drama or a related subject
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
Desirable
Experience in a selective or high-performing school setting
Involvement in school productions or directing performances
Strong academic background and understanding of exam board requirements
