Here at TeacherActive we are proud to be working with a brilliant secondary school in Swadlincote who are currently recruiting for a Drama teacher for a full time position starting immediately.

The school is looking for someone who has at least 6 months of previous experience teaching Drama up to KS5 level, and is confident in their ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective Drama lessons. Experience teaching Dance would also be ideal.

Successful applicants will have:

1. QTS specialising in Drama (early career teachers are also encouraged to apply)
2. A track record of helping students to achieve outstanding GCSE results
3. An excellent knowledge of the curriculum up to KS5 level
4. The ability to communicate well with both teachers and students
