Your Mission as a Drama Teacher:

  • Design Inspiring Lessons: Plan and deliver dynamic drama lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Ignite Passion for Performance: Teach students, helping them build confidence and a love for the performing arts.
  • Lead Creative Projects: Organise and direct school productions, workshops, and drama clubs that showcase student talent.
  • Support Student Growth: Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Foster a Safe Space: Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where students feel empowered to express themselves.
  • Promote Well-being: Ensure all activities are conducted with a strong focus on student safety and well-being.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified and Passionate: QTS, ECT, or equivalent overseas qualifications in drama or performing arts.
  • Experienced Educator: Proven experience teaching drama in a school setting.
  • Creative Communicator: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Inspirational Leader: Ability to motivate and inspire students to explore their creative potential.
  • Inclusive Practitioner: Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
  • Bonus: Experienced Teaching Assistants (TA) and Cover Supervisors (CS) with a background in drama are also encouraged to apply.
