Job summary

New Appointments Group is seeking a Trainee Survey Assistant - Drainage to learn drainage surveying outdoors with an experienced team on the Isle of Wight or nearby commuting areas. Full training will be provided, and you’ll gain practical site experience while supporting a range of drainage projects.

You’ll use CCTV equipment, gather site information, and contribute to reports to help improve water networks and protect the environment. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence essential.
• DBS checks required.
• No experience needed; willingness to learn and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drainage surveys outdoors with an experienced team.
• Operate CCTV equipment to capture site information.
• Gather site data and contribute to project reports.
• Opportunity to progress into a Team Leader role within 6 months.
