Job summary

Lanes Group Ltd is a leading UK utility services provider with a nationwide footprint and around 5,000 employees. The role involves driving gully wagons, working with a teammate to operate jetting and vacuumation units on highways, and performing CCTV investigations where needed.

In this physically demanding role you will cover long distances on foot, update electronic records, and liaise with customers from multiple sites. A CPC licence is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 driving licence essential (no more than 6 points).
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Team player with good IT/data entry accuracy.
• CPC Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate high specification jetting and vacuumation units as part of a two-person team.
• Carry out remote CCTV investigations to assess underground drainage condition.
• Use high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages in drains and sewers.
• Liaise with customers and update electronic records.
• Report safety issues and perform vehicle/equipment checks.
