Job summary

Acorn by Synergie in Exeter city centre is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join a thriving multi-disciplinary consultancy. You will work on drainage, highways and infrastructure design with a collaborative team.

You'll design drainage strategies, produce FRAs and SuDS, and manage projects from concept through to construction, while mentoring junior engineers and liaising with clients and authorities. Chartership support is available.

Qualifications

• Proven civil engineer with drainage design experience.
• Chartership progression or membership desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver drainage strategies for developments.
• Produce FRAs and SuDS designs.
• Prepare Section 104/106/278 agreements.
• Design highways and civil infrastructure solutions.
• Liaise with clients, authorities and project teams.
• Manage projects from concept through to construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure on-time delivery.
