AtkinsRéalis is a leading name in Surface Water Management (SWM), shaping dialogue within the UK and internationally on integrating drainage into green-blue infrastructure and masterplanning. Joining our team means becoming part of a multidisciplinary group with a national remit, working with clients including water companies, local authorities, highways, rail authorities, and developers on major projects. The role involves close collaboration with technical experts and offers potential to become the regional contact for Surface Water Management and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS). The candidate will develop technical expertise, mentor staff, and liaise with clients. Experience in drainage and SuDS is ideal, and an interest in planning, ecology, landscape architecture, environmental economics, and management is desirable.
The Belfast water team comprises geographers, GIS specialists, modellers, and engineers, delivering projects for Water Companies, Local Authorities, and developers.
