Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to support a leading UK broadcasting and media organisation. You will operate, maintain and repair environmental water and drainage systems across the site, ensuring safety, compliance and continuous operation.

The role requires practical expertise in water treatment, drainage and related equipment, with responsibilities spanning monitoring, maintenance, CCTV surveys and liaising with contractors to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Practical engineering experience within water systems, water treatment or environmental services.
• Knowledge of domestic and commercial water systems.
• Experience with water softeners, pumps and dosing systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain building water systems in line with ACOP L8 and Water Regulations.
• Inspect and repair water treatment equipment and dosing systems.
• Carry out drainage maintenance including foul drainage, traps, gullies and sump pumps.
• Carry out CCTV surveys and remedial works on drainage systems.
• Respond to Legionella risks, flooding and public health concerns.
