- UK experience of working on public, private or third sector drainage design projects. Competency using UK standards such as DMRB, The SUDs Manual, CDM and local authority standards
- Ability to design all aspects of drainage from concept to detailed design
- Experience of drainage design interfaces (e.g. SUDs, highways, environmental, structural etc.)
- Ability to prepare reports and specifications and to collect and assimilate other data and statistics necessary for the preparation of progress and technical reports.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic modelling software such as Micro Drainage
- Working towards professional membership/accreditation with an industry recognised Professional Body
- The legal right to work in the UK
- A full UK driving licence
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar
- Familiarity with 3D design tools and BIM
- Knowledge of EA Business Case development
- Working knowledge of S278, S38, S104 and S106 design and applications
