Your New Job

Being the Team leader and working with a team of skilled operatives to deliver patching solutions to our valued clients, in both regulatory and non-regulatory environments. The majority of works will be on our established frameworks with the country's leading water companies. You will lead the team, manage delivery, therefore you will be responsible for all site activity ensuring the team are working safely and efficiently and ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale.

Principal Accountabilities:
  1. Day to day responsibility for site staff and all associated site activity in conjunction with Project Supervisor.
  2. Responsible for all Patching work completed on site.
  3. That Ipsum site and reporting processes are adhered to fully.
  4. To be a role model for your team, passing on experience to further the development and skill set of operatives.
  5. Ensure compliance of site staff with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment - that all works are conducted in a safe manner.
  6. Ensure Company policies are always adhered to.
  7. Ensure all site related incidents are reported.
  8. Work closely with Project Supervisor to ensure work is pre-sited and pre-planned when required.
  9. Identify and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate.
  10. Responsible for producing high quality results, reports, and feedback.
  11. Always establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues and early resolution of any potential problems.
  12. You need to be flexible too: we operate 24/7 so there may be early starts, weekend working and out-of-hours working across the UK.
About You
Desirable Qualifications & Professional Membership(s):
  1. Previous experience and/or qualifications within the Utilities and/or Drainage Industry.
  2. Patching City and Guilds.
  3. EUSR - Patching and Lining.
  4. Full Clean Driving Licence.
  5. Experience running a Patching team.
  6. NRSWA Streetworks.
  7. Confined space level 2 and above.
  8. High-pressure water jetting.
  9. Manual Handling & First Aid at Work.
  10. Banksman training.
  11. Experience patching across a range of diameters, using a range of standard and pillow packers.
  12. HGV qualified.
  13. OS19 Qualification.
  14. Working knowledge of Robotic Cutters.
Desirable Knowledge & Experience:
  1. Proven experience in a previous Team Leader Role in the Drainage Industry.
  2. Proven track record in sewer rehabilitation in patching.
  3. Proven experience of working in customer service or a customer focused environment.
  4. Professional, customer focused with a good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning.
  5. Working knowledge of Health and Safety.
  6. IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office package.
  7. Experience and ability to produce quality reports & feedback in associated systems.
  8. Experience and ability to lead by and set an example.
