Job summary

Adler & Allan in Hebburn is seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer to deliver drainage maintenance, cleaning and reactive works across domestic, commercial and industrial sites. You will operate HPWJ and vactor units, work safely in confined spaces, and produce accurate site reports on handheld devices.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, NRSWA and other certifications; you’ll join a team committed to health and safety, with on-call duties and a competitive salary plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering drainage maintenance and reactive works.
• Capable of high-pressure water jetting and vactor operation.
• Ability to complete site and job reports on handheld/tablet.
• Adhere to health and safety standards.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out drainage work across domestic, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Perform HPWJ to clean and clear drainage systems.
• Operate vactor units with boom systems.
• Work safely in confined spaces when required.
• Diagnose drainage issues and implement solutions.
• Complete site reports accurately using handheld devices.
• Maintain tools and machinery in safe condition.
