Drainage EngineerVertical Recruitment are working with an award-winning Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy in the Wirral. They are expanding their infrastructure team and looking for an experienced Drainage Engineer. They work on a broad project portfolio across mixed-use developments, historical refurbishments, commercial spaces, residential schemes, and leisure facilities.As a Drainage Engineer, you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to design and deliver below-ground drainage and surface water management solutions across a diverse range of projects.
You'll play a key role in producing high-quality, compliant designs that align with planning and adoptable standards.Responsibilities: * Design foul and surface water drainage systems using MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage * Work with AutoCAD and Civil 3D for modelling and drawing production * Contribute to SuDS strategies and flood risk assessments * Prepare drainage layouts and strategy reports for planning * Liaise with clients, architects, local authorities, and other stakeholders * Support junior engineers and coordinate with the wider civils and structures teamRequirements: * Min 3 years experience. * Degree in Civil Engineering. * Proficient with AutoCAD. * Proficient with Causeway/Micro drainage. * Experience preparing drainage strategies, FRAs, S104/S106. * Experience with Civil 3D desired but not essential. * Working towards ICE Chartership.Package: * 31 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) * 6% employer's pension contribution * Health insurance * Life insurance * Flexible working hours * Hybrid working * Generous Christmas bonus
