A leading company is looking for a Draughtsperson to produce 2D/3D procedural drawings for projects in an office-based role with hybrid working flexibility. The successful candidate will work closely with the engineering team to ensure high standards in design and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Experience with rigging drawings, vessel deck layouts, offshore field layouts, and subsea installation story boards.
  • Understanding of HSEQ and the importance of codes and standards is essential.
  • Experience in a subsea drawing office is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create procedural drawings using company templates.
  • Support the drawing office by developing processes and templates.
  • Review and update drawings with input from the engineering team.

Job DescriptionJoin us as our new Draughtsperson

As a Draughtsperson, you will work in a role that produces 2D/3D procedural drawings to aid projects from tender to as-built.

Whilst this is an office-based position, there will be opportunities to spend time working in other DOF locations and attend vessel familiarisation visits. We also offer a hybrid working setup where employees can elect to work from home on certain days of the week.

Responsibilities:

  • Drawing creation using company templates
  • Producing drawings for subsea project delivery
  • Supporting the drawing office in development of processes and drawing templates
  • Reviewing and updating drawings with input from Engineering team


Requirements

Experience of:

  • Rigging drawings
  • Vessel deck layout drawings
  • Offshore field layouts
  • Seafastening Design and Fabrication Drawings
  • Structural Design and Fabrication Drawings
  • Subsea installation story boards


In addition to the above experience candidates would ideally possess the following competencies:

  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Products such as Inventor, AutoCAD and Vault
  • Detail orientated and able to work in a deadline driven environment
  • Understanding of the importance of codes and standards
  • Experience in a subsea drawing office
  • An understanding of Renewable Energy would be advantageous
  • A strong understanding and commitment to HSEQ
  • Good communication skills
