Job Description:

Our client is a global insurance company that recently had 2 retirees, and therefore we are looking for 2 Risk Engineers to start as soon as possible.

Requirements

• MEng in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical / Process Engineering.
• Experience in an oil and gas exploration and production company, with significant experience in refinery, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing operations, process safety, reliability, maintenance, inspection, or an equivalent risk consulting role.
• Forward-thinking, agile, with problem-solving skills in risk management.
• Ability to work autonomously, curious, highly motivated, with good relationship skills, and a team player.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend risk engineering surveys and provide risk improvement recommendations to help clients manage risks effectively.
• Continuously learn about new and existing technologies, including recent developments in carbon capture, renewable hydrogen production, and geothermal projects, to support the engineering team.

Position is remote if based in the UK, with travel required.
