Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily dosimetry operations, ensuring IRR17 compliance.
  • Provide SME advice, guidance, and assurance on dosimetry matters.
  • Deliver dosimetry and local Radiation Protection training.
  • Support operational Health Physics activities.
  • Represent RRSL in dosimetry working groups.
  • Maintain and update local dosimetry instructions.
  • Assist in setting dosimetry standards and policies.
  • Support emergency preparedness and out-of-hours roster duties (on-call allowance applicable).

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in dosimetry and operational health physics.
  • Knowledge of internal dosimetry preferred.
  • Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with bespoke software applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to follow procedures and plan work independently.
