Job description

Join The Hospice Lottery and Make a Difference!

About Us

At The Hospice Lottery, we are proud of our Fundraisers! As a not-for-profit social enterprise, we have supported partner charities for over 27 years, raising funds that make a real difference.

Our diverse Fundraisers, from teachers to CEOs, are dedicated to making a difference. Their efforts have helped us contribute nearly £20 million to our partner charities, enabling vital care and support for those in need, while enjoying flexible and fulfilling roles.

About the Role

You will be the public face of The Hospice Lottery, visiting potential subscribers at home, explaining how the lottery works, and promoting our supported charities and mission within the community. This role offers personal satisfaction, as every sign-up supports those affected by life-limiting illnesses locally.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maximise engagement opportunities with supporters.
  2. Provide an excellent supporter experience.
  3. Represent our charity partners and promote their missions.

As a self-employed fundraiser, you will have the flexibility to choose your working days and hours. We provide all necessary tools, including company-branded clothing, sales aids, and a tablet for sign-ups.

Supporting Charities

Your work will benefit:

  • Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity
  • The Hospice of St Francis

These charities focus on improving quality of life for individuals with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Benefits

  • Flexible working hours
  • Opportunities for career growth
  • Employee referral program
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing support from our Sales Manager
  • Self-employed with weekly pay

Person Specification

Minimum 5 years of work experience required, with at least 12 months in a customer-facing role preferred. Previous door-to-door fundraising or sales experience is advantageous.
