Job summary

RE Recruitment Group is seeking an Industrial Door Engineer to join a permanently employed team, covering sites along the M5 between Bristol and Birmingham. You will install, service, maintain and repair industrial doors and loading bay equipment, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and leading site installations.

The role requires proven experience with rapid roll doors, strong electrical skills, and holding a full UK driving licence, CSCS, FLT and IPAF.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial door systems.
• Strong electrical installation and fault-finding skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and lead site installations.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial doors and loading bay equipment.
• Commissioning industrial door systems and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Leading site installations and ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), site surveys, audits, and service documentation.
• Identifying additional work opportunities while providing excellent customer service and technical support.

Job description

Our client, a well-established company within the industrial door and loading bay industry, has an exciting new opportunity for an Industrial Door Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis due to continued business growth with work along the M5 between Bristol and Birmingham.

The successful Industrial Door Engineer should have:

• Proven experience installing Rapid Roll doors.
• Strong electrical installation and fault-finding skills.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial door systems.
• The ability to work independently and lead site installations.

Our client is offering the successful Industrial Door Engineer a salary in the region of 18.50+ per hour based on 40 hours a week, depending on experience, plus benefits including a company vehicle, ongoing training and development, company tools, and holiday entitlement. Overtime is also available and paid at a higher rate.
