Job summary

Owen Payne Recruitment Services Limited is looking for an experienced Door Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team in Wolverhampton, WV10. This 12 week temp-to-perm role suits candidates with wood assembly experience seeking a long-term position with an established company.

The site requires candidates to provide their own transport as it is not accessible by public transport. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with on-site canteen facilities and ongoing work

Qualifications

• Experience in wood assembly or joinery is essential.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wooden doors to specification.
• Bench work in a production environment to support manufacturing.
• Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Carry out wood assembly and fit components as required.
• Handle materials and finished products with manual handling.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and adhere to safety standards.

Owen Payne are currently recruiting for an experienced Door Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team based in Wolverhampton, WV10. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous wood assembly experience who are looking for a long-term role within an established company. This role will be a 12 week temp to perm position for the successful candidate.

** Please note that the site is not accessible via public transport. Applicants must therefore have their own transport.**

Key Duties

• Assembly of wooden doors to specification
• Bench work in a production environment
• Using a variety of hand and power tools
• Wood assembly and fitting of components
• Manual handling of materials and finished products
• Heavy lifting and physically demanding work
• Ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Requirements

• Previous experience in wood assembly or joinery/carpentry
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy work
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable with a strong work ethic

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
