Within NHS National Services Scotland, the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) plays a crucial role in Scotland's health system and on an international level through product development, biomedical research, and donor services. Our aim is to uphold the highest standards of patient care while remaining competitive globally.

The Candidate:

We seek a Donor Carer Venepuncturist to join our community teams, providing high-standard care to blood donors. The ideal candidate should be friendly, enjoy interacting with people, and work well within a team.

As a Donor Carer Venepuncturist, your responsibilities will include caring for donors during the blood donation process, as well as loading, unloading, and assembling donation equipment for community sessions.

Essential qualifications include knowledge of healthcare or similar customer-focused environments, proficient keyboard skills, and strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
