• Experience in finance administration, income processing or charity finance.
• Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident using Excel, spreadsheets and financial systems.
• Experienced in reconciling financial transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• A strong communicator who can work effectively with colleagues, donors and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently while knowing when to seek advice and support.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile income from fundraising and payment platforms.
• Administer Gift Aid claims and HMRC compliance.
• Manage charity lottery administration and regulatory returns.
• Maintain accurate cashbooks and financial records.
• Process donations received through appeals and donations.
• Raise purchase orders and support expenditure monitoring.
• Support charitable fund management and reporting.
• Assist with audits, governance requirements and financial reporting.
• Help identify and implement improvements to finance processes and systems.
