Domino's is currently looking to recruit full-time Shift Managers covering stores in Aldershot, Fleet, and Hook. The shift manager role is a fast-paced, hands-on, career progression program that helps you gain quick, valuable, and effective knowledge to lead you towards being a Domino’s store manager in 12-18 months. If you can manage quality, speed, and people; you will be able to produce great results.

Main Duties and Responsibilities as our Shift Manager will include:

  • Setting and implementing standard operating procedures and service standards of the store.
  • Managing the pre-assigned staff for both front and back of house and ensuring brand standards are achieved.
  • Managing and motivating, recruiting, training, and developing staff according to company policies and employment laws.
  • Handling human resource management, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, and annual staff appraisals.
  • Managing labor costs and overheads, planning, forecasting, and setting budgets and sales targets, and monitoring business performance.
  • Managing cash and payment systems in accordance with company policies, prioritizing staff and customer safety.
  • Maintaining the effectiveness of IT and other in-store systems, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
  • Planning and implementing marketing strategies and activities as directed.
  • Optimizing shop merchandising, layout, and customer traffic flow to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing stock levels, food deliveries, and inventory systems.
  • Overseeing health & safety, security, and emergency protocols.
  • Conducting weekly review meetings with staff to discuss targets, sales, and costs.
  • Engaging in ongoing personal development and training.

Our ideal Shift Manager will:

  • Have experience in a similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume retail food service environment at manager/assistant manager level.
  • Desire to progress to an Area Manager role.
  • Possess right to work documents in the UK.
