Job summary

Specsavers Norge is seeking a domiciliary optometrist to deliver eye care directly to patients in their homes across the designated territory. You will perform comprehensive eye examinations, provide eyewear recommendations, and support patients with basic tasks to enhance daily living.

This role includes traveling in a company car or receiving a car allowance, access to portable optical equipment, and a CPD program that supports professional growth while delivering high-quality community eye

Qualifications

• Must be GOC registered and eligible to practice in the UK.
• Full driving licence required.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide eye health assessments and eyewear recommendations at patients' homes.
• Drive to domiciliary visits and manage your schedule.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care and support activities of daily living as needed.
• Utilise portable optical equipment to perform exams.
• Collaborate with local teams to ensure continuity of care.

We do need you to have a couple of things to get started in this role.Firstly, you’ll need to be registered as a member of the General Optical Council (keeping this up to date) and youmusthave a full driving license. You’ll also need to be confident, passionate about providing the best customer service and be comfortable working by yourself and as part of a team.
