Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a domiciliary optometrist to take eye care to patients at their homes across Salisbury and surrounding areas. You’ll deliver high‑quality eye exams, fitting of lenses and advice, while supporting patients with tasks they may struggle with at home.

We offer a company car (or car allowance), CPD training, 33 days of annual leave including bank holidays, and a welcoming, community‑focused culture with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• GOC registered optometrist with a full driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer care and clinical judgement.

Responsibilities

• Provide eye care to patients in their homes.
• Drive to clients' homes using company car or allowance.
• Assist with basic tasks to support daily living where needed.

Find Out More

We do need you to have a couple of things to get started in this role. Firstly, you'll need to be registered as a member of the General Optical Council (keeping this up to date) and you must have a full driving licence. You'll also need to be confident, passionate about providing the best customer service and be comfortable working by yourself and as part of a team.
