Job description

Opportunity: Domiciliary Optical Assistant - Norwich and Surrounding region

Salary & Benefits: up to £26,500 per annum basic salary plus a company car, Specsavers Perks, 5.6 weeks holiday

Working hours: Monday to Friday in a varied role where no two days are the same, 8.30am to 5.30pm

You must hold a full uk driving license so you can drive around and have some previous optical experience

It is safe to say that in carrying out your role, you will ensure the delivery of a high-quality professional service, with high standards of dispensing and customer care – in short, you’ll make sure every customer gets a great experience. The Directors are very experienced as well as being approachable and are keen to ensure staff are looked after well.

In this position you will be out and about in the community, driving across the regions noted above. Your main responsibility will be to provide support to the Optometrist when visiting patients in their own homes. This will include setting up testing equipment, carrying out handovers with the optometrist and being able to provide a personalised dispensing service to each patient you meet. Customer care is high on our agenda, so you must love optics and love dealing with the more vulnerable customers.
