Specsavers seeks a Domiciliary Optical Assistant to deliver essential vision care to patients unable to visit stores. This role provides a unique opportunity to bring clinical care directly to the community and support patients with daily tasks. A full UK driving license and GOC registration required for this invaluable role.
Role: Domiciliary Optical Assistant, 3, 4 or 5 days a week
Ready to take your skills on the road? As a Domiciliary Dispensing Optician at Specsavers, you can do just that.
You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. But not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll be able to support them to get basic tasks done that they wouldn’t be able to do without you. Essentially, you’ll be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.
Our business
You’ll cover the South Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire and Sheffield region providing care to vulnerable patients.

We have a wonderful existing team of dedicated people from optical and administrative backgrounds, who ready and waiting for you to meet.
Our cars
You’ll be provided with a a car allowance of £2,000 per annum or a company care that will allow you to bring your care and services directly to people’s homes.
