Qualifications

• Skilled in assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming while preserving dignity and privacy.
• Experienced in administering medication safely, monitoring health conditions, and following care plans.
• Trained in the safe use of hoists, mobility aids, and transferring techniques to prevent injury.
• Builds trusting relationships with clients and families through active listening, empathy, and clear communication.
• Accurately documents care provided using care logs or digital systems, and maintains confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients with a wide range of needs.
• Assist with toileting, continence management and personal hygiene.
• Help clients get up in the morning and go to bed at night.
• Assist with medication at the agreed level of support as detailed in Care Needs Assessment.
• Maintain detailed records concerning care and medication support given.
• Prepare food and drink for the client respecting likes, nutritional needs, and cultural requirements.
• Provide light general household tasks per care plan or instructions.
• Observe health and safety rules and raise concerns to Field Care Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as requested by senior management within scope of the post.
