Job summary

Verity Healthcare Limited in Rochdale is looking for a dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care in service users' own homes.

You will manage a caseload of children, young people and adults, follow care plans, support personal care and medication, and promote dignity and independence. We offer full-time or part-time contracts with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in domiciliary care or similar setting is desirable.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
• Willingness to learn and complete ongoing training.
• Patient and understanding when supporting individuals with different needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to service users in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support continence management and personal hygiene.
• Assist with getting up in the morning and preparing for bed.
• Support with medication in line with the care plan.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Contract: Full-time or Part-time

Hours: Full-time - 40hours per week | Part-time - 20hours per week

We're looking for a domiciliary care worker to join our team and manage a caseload of children, young people and adult packages.

The Role

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to service users in their own homes. You will support individuals with a range of needs, illnesses and disabilities while promoting their dignity, independence, wellbeing and choice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support to service users in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Support service users with continence management and personal hygiene.
• Assist clients with getting up in the morning and preparing for bed at night.
• Support clients with medication in line with their care plan and agreed level of support.

Experience & Skills

Experience in domiciliary care, healthcare, nursing homes or a similar setting is desirable, but we also welcome applications from individuals who have theright attitude and valuesand are looking to start or develop their career in care.

Experience with the following would be advantageous:

• Personal care.

• Moving and handling.
• Hoists and mobility equipment.
• Dementia care.
• Supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Accurate care documentation and digital care records.
