Job summary

UP24 SEVEN is seeking caring assistants to support elderly residents in Derby, Heanor, Little Eaton, Belper, Matlock, Ashbourne, Chesterfield and Nottingham areas. You will enter homes and provide hands-on care, including washing, dressing, and mobility assistance, with catheter/colostomy care as needed.

Drivers only and own transport required. This role offers flexible permanent/part-time hours and progression within the care sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar field is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for service users in elderly homes.
• Assist with washing and dressing; help in/out of bed.
• Support general mobility and transfers.
• Assist with continence/toileting care and catheter/colostomy care.

A number of carers are required to work in Derby, Heanor, Little Eaton, Belper, Matlock, Ashbourne, Chesterfield and Nottingham areas. You will be working for a caring company which provides care service to the elderly.

You will be going into elderly homes and will be providing hands on care for service users including washing, assistance with dressing, getting in/out of bed, general mobility, continence/toileting care, catheter and colostomy care etc.

Working as a care assistant is a role that requires compassion, initiative and a can do attitude as well as resilience. You should enjoy going the extra mile knowing that you make a difference to the society.
