Job summary

Bright Selection Ltd is recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a domiciliary care service in the Basildon area. The role suits an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy/Care Manager ready to step up, focusing on safe, effective and compliant day-to-day operations for high-quality, person-centred care.

You will oversee branch leadership, ensure CQC compliance, manage care plans, staff recruitment and development, staffing levels, and on-call continuity, while building

Qualifications

• Experience of managing or supervising care teams.
• Knowledge of CQC requirements and regulated care services.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A relevant social care qualification, ideally Level 5 or willingness to work towards it.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting the branch and care teams.
• Maintaining compliance with CQC requirements, legislation and company policies.
• Overseeing assessments, care plans, risk assessments and service reviews.
• Managing recruitment, induction, supervision and staff development.
• Ensuring safe staffing levels and effective rota coverage.
• Managing complaints, incidents, safeguarding and quality improvement.
• Building strong relationships with customers, families and professionals.
• Supporting the growth and development of the service.
• Participating in the on-call rota and helping maintain continuity of care when required.
