Job summary

Routes Healthcare in Barnsley is seeking a Domiciliary Care Manager to lead day-to-day operations of the Barnsley domiciliary care service. You will manage the team and ensure safe, person-centred care in clients’ homes.

The ideal candidate has care management experience, strong supervisory skills, and a focus on quality and compliance. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Care management experience and ability to lead a domiciliary team.
• Experience supervising care staff, rosters, and performance.
• Solid knowledge of quality and compliance in health and social care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care delivery, call times, and continuity of care.
• Develop and review care plans and risk assessments.
• Supervise a small care worker team; manage rosters and spot checks.
• Maintain CQC compliance, handle incidents, complaints, safeguarding.
