Qualifications

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full training provided.
  • A genuine passion for helping others.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, honesty, and a caring nature.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle (preferred for community-based roles).
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of hoists.
  • Support with medication administration and record-keeping.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if required.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Carry out light domestic duties (e.g., laundry, cleaning).
  • Follow individual care plans and report changes in health or well-being.
