Domiciliary Care Assistant - Bank

Location: Richmond Villages Painswick, Stroud Road, Gloucestershire, GL6 6UL

Salary: £13.20 per hour

Shifts: A mixture of shifts including:

  • 7am - 11.30am
  • 6.45am - 2.00pm
  • 1.45pm - 10.00pm
  • 6.00pm - 10.00pm

We are seeking Domiciliary Care Assistants to join our team at Richmond Village Add Village Location. As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will provide care and support to residents living in our serviced apartments on site, with no travel required as all residents are in one location.

We offer both full and part-time opportunities with a range of shifts. As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you'll help residents enjoy life to the fullest, and in return, we'll support your career development.

Upon starting, you'll receive a thorough induction to help you settle into your new role.

If you are passionate about caring for others, respecting their choices, prioritizing safety and welfare, and are a good listener with a positive outlook, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting residents with personal care duties
  • Supporting residents during mealtimes when appropriate
  • Promoting mental and physical activity through hobbies and activities within the village
  • Responding to emergency calls on site via the care alert system
  • Collaborating with the Domiciliary Care Manager and external professionals such as GPs, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists
Qualifications and Skills:

Experience in a care or dementia setting is preferred, or a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Full training will be provided if needed.
