Job Title: Domiciliary Care Assistant

Location: Bridge Meadow Way, NN4 5EB

Salary Range: £12.60ph & Excellent Benefits

Contract: Permanent 30hrs

Shift Pattern: Day shifts available

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you’ll help residents to truly get the most out of life. We support your career development with thorough induction, ongoing training, apprenticeships, and access to our online portal and LinkedIn Learning.

Your Responsibilities
  • Assisting residents with personal care duties such as bathing, dressing, and continence care within their homes in the Village, while championing dignity and independence.
  • Supporting at mealtimes, serving meals, and assisting with mobility and transfers using wheelchairs or hoists.
  • Promoting mental and physical activities through hobbies and interests.
  • Responding to emergency calls from the care alert system.
  • Collaborating with the Domiciliary Care Manager and external professionals such as GPs, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided, activities, and health changes.
Key Skills and Qualifications

Experience in care or dementia settings is preferred; a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is advantageous. Above all, you should be passionate about caring, respectful, a good listener, confident in communication, discreet, and a team player who delivers care with dignity and compassion.
