Job summary

Homeless Link in Leeds is seeking a Specialist Domestic Violence Team member to support victims of domestic abuse alongside wellbeing workers, counsellors and housing staff.

You will provide guidance and practical support to clients and share expertise with housing colleagues to improve safeguarding and referral pathways.

The role emphasises collaboration, compassionate communication and a commitment to vulnerable people in the community.

Responsibilities

• Work with wellbeing workers, counsellors and housing support workers to provide support to service users experiencing domestic abuse.
• Provide guidance, support and advice to the housing support team in relation to these clients.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to workwith Community, Health &Prevention Service aspart of the Specialist Domestic Violence Team supporting victims of domestic abuse.

The specialist worker will work alongside wellbeing workers, counsellors and housing support workers to provide support to service users who are experiencing domestic abuse. They will also provide guidance, support and advice to the housing support team in relation to these clients.
