Cygnet Wast Hills is currently seeking an experienced Domestic Supervisor to join our domestic team at Cygnet Wast Hills. We are looking for an experienced Domestic Supervisor to provide hands on general cleaning and housekeeping duties at the Hospital as well as leading the housekeeping team, which will include regular staff supervision, rota management, time sheets, sickness records and annual leave requests. You will work 40 hours per week across 5 days, the shift times are 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm, and this includes working weekends and bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing friendly, effective cleaning service with a positive attitude, ideally within a hospital or care setting. The Service:Cygnet Wast Hills provides dedicated, person-centred support to men with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs in a robust environment.The service has a number of independent and communal living spaces for the individuals we support, to maximise opportunities to progress through their care pathway towards greater independence.

Your role will include:

  • Ensure all housekeeping services are maintained to a high standard
  • Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service
  • Conduct regular staff supervision
  • Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
  • Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
  • Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
  • Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures
  • Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations
  • Monitor the level of service provided against the agreed standards for the department and perform audits of operational activities when required.
