Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain cleanliness across wards, offices, and clinical areas in line with infection control standards. You will operate cleaning machinery, dispose of waste per NHS protocols, and stock supplies.

Job description

• Cleaning Duties:Perform routine and deep cleaning of wards, offices, corridors, toilets, and clinical areas to meet infection control standards.
• Waste Management:Safely dispose of clinical and domestic waste following NHS protocols.
• Use of Equipment:Operate cleaning machinery (e.g., floor buffers, vacuum cleaners) and ensure proper maintenance.
• Stock Management:Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Compliance:Follow health and safety regulations, COSHH guidelines, and infection prevention procedures.

• Pay Enhancements - 30% additional for Evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays and 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays.
