Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated cleaning operative to maintain a clean, safe environment across hospital and office areas. You will perform cleaning duties in patient areas, staff rooms, offices and communal spaces in line with infection control standards and PPE guidelines.

Responsibilities include disinfecting surfaces, waste disposal, replenishing supplies, reporting hazards, and safeguarding patient confidentiality.

• Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
• Adhere to confidentiality and safeguarding policies when working in patient areas.
• Comply with health and safety regulations, including the use of PPE and COSHH guidelines.

• Pay Enhancements - 30% additional for Evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays and 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays.
