Job summary

St Philip's Care Highlands Care Centre is seeking a dedicated Domestic and Laundry Assistant to help maintain clean, homely surroundings for residents. You will support daily housekeeping duties, focusing on residents' rooms and shared spaces while upholding high standards of cleanliness.

Reporting to the Care Home Manager, you will work as part of a friendly, supportive team and receive full training, induction, and ongoing development opportunities within the St Philip's Care family.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the home.

• Support day-to-day running of a busy care establishment.
• Report accidents, hazards and unsafe equipment to management.

As a part of the house keeping team you are a valued and respected part of the team. We are looking for an individual who has high attention to detail, high standards and pride in their work.

You are responsible for maintaining high standards or cleanliness throughout the home for our residents, cleaning and caring for our residents rooms and ensuring they are homely and tidy.

You are responsible for communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dinning area and seating areas.

Our Care Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Domestic Housekeeping Assistant to assist in the day to day running of a busy and vibrant care establishment.

You will be reporting to the Care Home Manager,

Candidates Should Have:

• A flexible approach to work

• Be able to use resources economically and effectively
• Beware of correct cleaning solutions and equipment for correct job
• Be aware of the responsibility to report any accidents, untoward incidents, hazards and unsafe equipment

As a Domestic and Laundry Assistant it would be desirable to have:

• Previous experience of care work in a Hospital or Care Home.
• An interest for Care of the Elderly
