Qualifications

  • Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer with a valid ACS/Gas Safe registration.
  • Eager to progress into commercial gas engineering.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting planned preventive maintenance (PPM), servicing, and reactive breakdowns.
  • Participating in the call-out rota (1 in 5/6 weeks).
  • Providing support and training for those transitioning from domestic to commercial gas work.

Domestic / Junior Commercial Gas Engineer
Location:Field-based – ideally within M25 region (Kent, Essex, North London, Herts, Berkshire etc.)
Salary:£40,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Company Van + Benefits
Contract Type:Full Time, Permanent
Hours:Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (40 hours/week)
Call-Out Rota:1 in 5/6 (Standby: £120)

Our client is a respected and long-standing Commercial & Domestic Heating Companybased in Essex. With a dedicated team and a reputation for exceptional service, they support a wide range of high end clients.
Operating across a broad geographical area their engineers are regionally based but flexible to travel when required. This company offers a solid, supportive environment for gas engineers looking to grow and develop their careers and upskill into the commercial gas sector.
The Role
Due to continued growth, the company is looking to recruit up to two engineersto join their team:
  • Experienced Domestic Gas Engineerslooking to progress into Commercial work
This is a varied and rewarding role offering a mix of PPM, servicing, and reactive breakdowns.
Engineers are expected to participate in the call-out rota (1 in 5/6 weeks)and will receive full support, training, and ongoing development—particularly for those making the transition from domestic to commercial gas.

What’s On Offer

    • Weekdays & Saturdays at x1.5
    • Sundays at x2
  • Call-Out Rota:1 in 5/6 weeks – £120 standby allowance
