Job summary

Aster Group is seeking a skilled Domestic Heating Engineer to service and repair gas boilers in domestic properties around Romsey, Hampshire. You will work primarily solo, supported by a supervisor, and use a handheld device to access job details.

You will hold gas qualifications (CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT1) with a driving licence and be comfortable with safety regulations. A company vehicle is provided and occasional cross-area work may occur.

Qualifications

• Time served plumbing and heating apprenticeship or hold a gas qualification with proven domestic dwelling experience.
• Hold CCN1, CKR1, HTR1 & CENWAT1 qualifications; oil qualification also beneficial.
• Knowledge of gas safety regulations and health & safety regulations.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Flexible with out-of-hours standby rota within your region.
• Able to work in a team or autonomously and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Service gas boilers & repairs in domestic dwellings.
• Work around the Romsey/Hampshire region with a company vehicle provided.
• Use PDA/IT systems to access and update job details.
• Attend toolbox talks and regular training; liaise with colleagues to complete works.
